Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, enjoy a VIP meet-and-greet service. You will be escorted through immigration and assisted with your luggage. Your private driver/guide will then transfer you to your luxurious accommodation. In the evening, set sail on a sumptuous sundowner cruise on Lake Victoria, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Sip champagne while watching the stunning sunset over the water.

Day 2: Flight to Murchison Falls National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, embark on an exhilarating game drive through the park, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot iconic wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. In the late afternoon, visit the Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile River narrows dramatically before plunging into a gorge—a breathtaking sight not to be missed.

Day 3: Full-Day Exploration of Murchison Falls National Park

Start your day with a morning game drive, searching for lions, leopards, and other fascinating wildlife. After a delightful lunch at the lodge, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River that takes you to the base of the falls. Keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the magnificent fish eagle.

Day 4: Delta Cruise on the Nile

Following breakfast, set off on a unique boat trip to the Nile Delta, where the river meets Lake Albert. This 5-6 hour excursion offers a rare opportunity to spot the elusive shoebill stork along with other fascinating birdlife. Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the airstrip for a flight to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll have the chance to explore the lush, green forest that is home to 12 primate species, including the Red-Tailed Monkey and Olive Baboon. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, filled with diverse avian life.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking & Swamp Walk

Start your day with a guided swamp walk, where you might encounter various primate species, including the rare great blue turaco. In the afternoon, participate in an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Observe these incredible creatures in their natural habitat and learn about their behaviors and social structures.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive to witness the park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha sector.

Day 8: Game Drives & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Experience both morning and afternoon game drives, spotting thousands of Uganda kobs, elephants, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll have close encounters with hippos, buffaloes, and an array of bird species, providing exceptional photo opportunities.

Day 9: Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, fly from Kasese to Kisoro, enjoying breathtaking views of the landscapes below. Along the way, make stops to savor local cuisine and take in the scenery before reaching your lodge in Bwindi.

Day 10: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

Prepare for an early morning briefing before embarking on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to locate a family of mountain gorillas. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 11: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda

After breakfast, cross the Cyanika Border into Rwanda. Upon arrival at Volcanoes National Park, embark on a golden monkey trekking adventure. This full-day activity offers an intimate experience with these playful primates as they swing through the treetops.

Day 12: Dian Fossey Hike

Hike to the Dian Fossey Research Center, set at an elevation of 3,000 meters. This 2-hour trek provides insight into Fossey’s groundbreaking work on gorilla conservation and her enduring legacy. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 13: Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village

Visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to immerse yourself in Rwandan culture and traditions. Enjoy a guided community walk, visit a replica of a traditional king’s house, and witness vibrant traditional dances and performances that showcase the rich heritage of the local people.

Day 14: Departure from Entebbe

After breakfast, transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Take time to relax and reflect on your incredible safari experiences. Depending on your international flight schedule, you may have the opportunity for last-minute souvenir shopping in Entebbe before your departure.
