Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, experience first-class service with a VIP meet-and-greet. You’ll be assisted with immigration and baggage handling before your private, English-speaking driver/guide escorts you to your luxurious accommodation. After a short rest, unwind with a peaceful sundowner cruise on Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in Africa, where you’ll enjoy spectacular sunset views and light refreshments on board.

Day 2: Flight to Lake Mburo National Park

Start the day with a sumptuous breakfast before your transfer to the airport for a scenic domestic flight to Mbarara. Upon arrival, your journey continues to the pristine Lake Mburo National Park, famed for its rolling hills and rich biodiversity. In the afternoon, enjoy an exclusive game drive, where you’ll encounter zebras, impalas, buffalos, and elands. Later, immerse yourself in the local Bahima culture through an enriching community visit, learning about their fascinating pastoral lifestyle and traditions.

Day 3: To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up to a magical morning in the wilderness with a guided nature walk, observing wildlife and bird species up close. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for a domestic flight to Kihihi, the gateway to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you will have the chance to visit the Batwa pygmy community and learn about their rich cultural heritage, survival techniques, and ancient traditions, including their deep connection with the forest.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today, embark on one of the most unforgettable experiences of a lifetime—gorilla tracking. After an early breakfast, you will arrive at the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. At 8:30 AM, venture deep into the lush, mountainous terrain of Bwindi, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Your expert guides will lead you through the forest until you reach a family of gorillas, where you’ll spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge to relax and reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha

After breakfast, set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, traveling through the picturesque Ishasha sector. This area is renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions, often spotted lounging in fig trees. Enjoy a game drive en route before arriving at your lodge on the scenic Mweya Peninsula. In the afternoon, embark on a safari across the park’s diverse landscape, rich in wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, and Uganda kobs.

Day 6: Game Drives & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi plains, where you can expect to encounter a variety of wildlife, from large elephant herds to prides of lions. After a hearty lunch at the lodge, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense concentration of hippos and a variety of bird species. This leisurely cruise offers remarkable opportunities to view animals gathering at the water’s edge.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking & Nature Walk in Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, head to Kibale National Park, home to the highest density of primates in Africa. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided swamp walk in Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, offering chances to spot monkeys, birds, and butterflies. In the afternoon, prepare for an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience, where you’ll come face-to-face with our closest primate relatives in their natural forest habitat.

Day 8: Return to Entebbe & Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, your driver will escort you to Kasese Airstrip for a domestic flight back to Entebbe. Depending on your international flight schedule, relax with a final lunch in Entebbe or explore the local markets before your onward journey.
