Itinerary breakdown

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure as you recover from your journey. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve, driving north through Kenya’s scenic central highlands with views of coffee, tea, and pineapple plantations. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in search of Samburu’s unique wildlife, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Spend the day exploring the rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and numerous bird species. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline for the wildlife.

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch at your Camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive within the conservancy, renowned for being home to the world’s last two remaining northern white rhinos, as well as black rhinos, chimpanzees, elephants, lions, and other wildlife.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park

Following breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and hundreds of bird species.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving at your camp for lunch. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah in search of the Big Five and other iconic African wildlife.

Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy a full day of game viewing with a packed lunch. Explore different sections of the reserve while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. During your safari, visit a traditional Maasai Village to learn about the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Maasai people.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving at your Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll spot hippos and a wide variety of birdlife, with opportunities to see wildlife along the shores.

Day 9: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Arrive at your Lodge in time for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 10: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Search for elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species while enjoying breathtaking views of Africa’s highest mountain.

Day 11: Amboseli – Nairobi – Departure

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to either your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.

(We recommend booking an evening departure flight on this day to allow sufficient time for the drive from Amboseli to Nairobi. Alternatively, you may choose to add an extra night in Nairobi at an additional cost before your international departure.)

Notes:

Baggage Allowance: Each guest may travel with one suitcase of up to 23kg (50 lbs) and one piece of hand luggage.
Road Transfers: Driving times are approximate and may vary depending on road conditions, weather, and wildlife sightings.
Children: This safari is suitable for guests 12 years of age and above.
Park Regulations: Guests must observe all park regulations and follow the instructions of the safari guide at all times.
Drones: The use of drones in Kenya's national parks and reserves is prohibited without prior authorization.
Plastic Bags: Kenya has banned single-use plastic carrier bags. Guests are encouraged to use reusable alternatives.
